The UK Labour Party has this week hosted nine staffers from the Israeli Labor Party, including deputy mayor of Tel Aviv Chen Arieli and Havoda chief executive Nir Rosen.
The group met with Labour leader Keir Starmer and deputy leader Angela Rayner, were hosted for dinner by Shadow Health Secretary Wes Streeting, and also met with Shadow Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
In the run up to the local elections, the group also discussed campaign tactics with senior figures at Labour HQ including genera secretary David Evans and campaign director Morgan McSweeney.
Michael Rubin, LFI director, said the visit was “an important landmark in the rebuilding of the deep and historic relationship with our sister party”.
