LFI had a major presence at today’s Jewish Labour Movement one-day conference in north London, including a stall and several sessions on issues relating to Israel and the wider Middle East.
The day began with an event on the future of the Israeli left, chaired by former LFI chair Louise Ellman, alongside Omer Shechter, Ayala Panievsky, and Shai Agmon, all of Molad – the Centre for the Renewal of Israeli Democracy.
The second session was chaired by LFI lay chair Adrian Cohen, in conversation with shadow Middle East minister and LFI parliamentary supporter Wayne David MP, on Labour’s attitude towards Iran and the wider Middle East.
The final session was “What’s next for the Israeli-Palestinian arena?”, chaired by Louise Ellman and contributions from Toby Greene, Moran Zaga, John Lyndon and Jonathan Rynhold.
