At today’s statement on the conflict between Israel and Hamas, LFI parliamentary supporter Neil Coyle MP raised the issue of UNRWA’s alleged connections with Hamas and other terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip, in the context of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
He asked: “Palestinians desperately need aid, so which organisations are the Government working with to replace the humanitarian efforts of the UN Relief and Works Agency while it is unfunded, especially if there is a ceasefire or pause? Can he assure the House that not a penny of UK funding is still reaching the hands of the terrorists who committed the October atrocities, and who still hold 134 hostages?”
