Responding to a question at Foreign Office Questions today, Middle East Minister Hamish Falconer today reiterated the UK government’s support for Israel’s security and determination to combat the destabilising influence of Iran.
He said: “The UK remains committed to supporting Israel’s security and wider regional stability in the face of threats from malign actors such as Iran. We are clear that Israel must act in accordance with international humanitarian law and do more to protect civilians, hospitals and those who are in desperate need of their services.”
